- Size: Very small, one-terminal airport (only domestic flights).

- You can land and be on the beach within 15 minutes

- Flights often full in summer — book well in advance
- Prone to cancellations due to wind or low visibility
- No public transportation or food options
Flights
- From Athens (ATH):
- The only regular connection.
- Flight time: ~40–45 minutes.
- Operated by Olympic Air (Aegean), Sky Express, and occasionally Cycladic.
- No international or inter-island flights.
- To get here from abroad, you'll connect via Athens.
Getting To/From the Airport
- By Taxi:
- 5–10 minutes to Naxos Town, ~€10+.
- Taxis may not be plentiful — consider booking ahead in peak season. ie. July and August
- By Car/Scooter Rental:
- Rental "desks" are usually right outside the terminal, but in practice it is best to arrange your car to be delivered at the airport.
- Ideal for exploring the island independently.
- By Bus:
- No official airport shuttle, but buses pass nearby on the main road. Only recommended when travelling very light.
- It's more practical to use a taxi or rent a car.
- By Minibus/Shuttle Transfer
- Some hotels / rooms/ apartments / villas offer free pick up. Ask if they can collect you on arrival, as well as take you to the airport at the end of your stay.

- Tip: Arrive only 60 mins before your flight — it’s not a place you want to hang out long.
