The best times to visit the Greek island of Naxos depend on weather conditions, crowd levels, and personal preferences.
Late Spring (May to June): This is one of the best periods to visit, as the weather is warm but not too hot, and the island is less crowded compared to peak summer months. What's more, you may find that renting beach umbrellas, etc is either free or costs a lot less than in the middle of Summer.
Summer (July to August): Ideal for those who enjoy lively atmospheres and warm sea temperatures. However, this is the busiest time of year, with higher prices and more tourists.
Early Autumn (September to October): Another excellent time to visit, as the sea remains warm from summer, and the crowds thin out. The weather is still pleasant for swimming and sunbathing.
Winter (November to March): While the beaches are quieter, this period is not ideal for swimming due to cooler temperatures and occasional rain.
For a balance of good weather and fewer crowds, late May to early June or September are highly recommended.
